Mandy wants to live in a world surrounded by forward thinking, innovative, positive and creative people. That’s why she chooses to work in marketing and fundraising. Mandy has over twenty five years’ experience working in the voluntary sector as a multi-skilled fundraiser and project manager. She has worked within the voluntary sector locally, nationally and internationally assisting organisations in developing long-term strategic fundraising plans. She has extensive experience in the field of fundraising and has a well-documented and proven track record in raising large sums of money/donations from a wide variety of different sources.
Her career began as a Manager for a local disability charity in Chester, England and then in 1993 she was elected the Chair of the National Organisation Dial UK. She went on to be an Independent Consultant and Trainer and then spent time living in New Zealand and the Bahamas raising funds for local good causes.
Since her return to the UK, Mandy has been employed by the Alzheimer’s Society specialising in Trust fundraising and then in 2012 moved to Citizens Advice Flintshire as one of the first paid fundraisers working within the Citizens Advice Network.
She is now the Manager of the Marketing, Communications and Fundraising department and is proud to lead a small team of dedicated, hardworking and fun loving, paid and volunteer staff.
When she’s not ‘shouting from the rooftops’ about the brilliant work Citizens Advice Flintshire does, you will find her riding one her many bicycles and she doesn’t stop when she is tired, only when it’s done.
