Siân gave up a career as a Solicitor back in 2003 to “work in an organisation which helps ordinary people access their rights and which isn’t focussed on making a profit.” After taking some time out and travelling Siân volunteered at Citizens Advice Flintshire whilst working 2 part time jobs.
In 2005 Siân became a Generalist Volunteer Adviser. Since then she has had various roles including in 2007 when she was employed as a Generalist Caseworker. In 2011 Siân progressed to her first managerial role as the Families First Team Manager and in 2013 she was made Projects Manager overlooking projects such as our Parent Partnership Service and the North Wales Discrimination Service.
Siân thinks the best part about working for Citizens Advice Flintshire is that she knows she is making a difference.
