Volunteering with us

Citizens Advice Flintshire needs people like you.

Have you got experience and skills that you want to put to good use, or you might be looking for an opportunity to gain new skills as part of a stepping stone to paid work.

Recruitment Adviser, Steve Foulkes, said “Increasingly people are using volunteering to gain skills and experience to get a job. Also, many of our volunteers are retired and we really value the life experience and skills they bring to the service.”

Come along to our friendly introductory session for potential volunteers on Wednesday 13th July 10.00-12.00 or Wednesday 17th August 14.00-16.00 at the Citizens Advice Flintshire office in Connah’s Quay. Find out more about the amazing work our volunteers are doing to help so many people within our community and see what opportunities are available to you.

We need more fantastic people for all 3 of our offices – Connah’s Quay, Mold and Holywell. We want to hear from people who are interested in training to provide information and advice and who are available to start the training in September.

Are you reliable, friendly and approachable? Are you able to listen to people in a non-judgemental way? If so, we would like to hear from you.

To reserve a place on the introductory session on Wednesday 13th July 10.00-12.00 or Wednesday 17th August 14.00-16.00, Citizens Advice Flintshire, Cable Street, Connah’s Quay, CH5 4DZ contact Steve Foulkes on 01352 706840 or email training@flintshirecab.org.uk
