Janet’s Story

This is Janet Davies. She contacted Citizens Advice Flintshire for help with her financial situation.

Janet was surviving by spending her savings, with no help and no knowledge as to what she was actually entitled to. After contacting Citizens Advice she was helped by a caseworker called Lisa who found that Janet had not been receiving all that she was entitled to.

Lisa helped Janet fill in the necessary forms and Janet now has an extra £115 per week in benefit income. She also received a backdated payment of £5000, all as a result of seeking help from Citizens Advice Flintshire.
